The truth—
and nothing else—
is a sole privilege
of the honest man.
He is entirely aware of deceit and loyalty,
deception and love
unconditional—
it is both a perk and a curse
to he who does not lie.
The world,
in its entirety,
conspires—
just to make the discerner
aware.
The one problem, though—
the world is built
by backstabbers,
slit-tongued charismatic leaders,
men who climb on the backs of other men—
and worst of all,
he knew—
with complete and unbiased truth,
when his lover’s
“I love you”
meant—
“I need you.”
