Random Leaf #1448

Yet in words and voice we are all equal, no matter the weight of our soul. It is only in our eyes we are not. For in our own, the center of the world is us. We are that which the next page turn and the pen continues on writing. We are our own protagonist. It matters not if we valiantly choose to be heroes or gallantly become villains, it is our story after all.

The question one must answer, would you, as a reader, read your own story?

Random Leaf #1447

One day, the world will drown even your own voice. No matter how loud you try, the voice of the world will be louder. But it wouldn't matter, it is your voice that they will be speaking. The world will be chanting whatever it is you want to say. At that moment, it is you who should listen.

"Such a waste."

"Huh??"

"It's totally a waste, really."

"Seriously, what's are talking about?"

"The phrase, faith without sight."

"Huh? What do you mean it's a waste? Don't you know it's origin?"

"..."

"The apostle Paul was teaching Corithians about believing in a God even though they can't see them."

"I imagine a lazy man praying to God for a beautiful and wonderful day and he just stayed on his bed all day without even going out."

".. But that is-"

"I know it's a wonderful day today, I don't even need to see it."

"That's different. It's just straight out laziness."

"I have faith it would be a great day, I don't even need to see it."

"It's-"

"It's a total waste."

"..."

"I remember of a blind pauper, a good friend of hers, wrote her a placard, it says: Even though I can't see it, I have faith everyone is having a good day."

"What has that got to do with what we're talking about?"

"Such a waste."

Random Leaf #1445

"Time travel is not necessarily travelling through time. In fact, it's actually travelling through space. Often time fictions depicts them as going from moment a to b without consideration to gravitation. Time travel is not that. Time is a constant thing, merely observed or in point of view, time will always move forward but to satisfy such feat, we must always consider time travel as not a displacement of moment but of points. Not moment a to b but point a to b, this is with the acknowledgement of the universal pulls, we would call gravitation."

"... uhh.."

"I see, in short, time travel is not just travel through time but travel through dimensions. In essence, once an object is displaced with such phenom, such object not only travel through time but through dimensions. If an object is in one reality, let's assume it's name as reality 1, that object cannot go back or go forward to the same reality 1. Instead, that object will go to another reality but, of course, it will be as per the objective of the feat, be able to also travel through time. But, of course, the reality travelled to will have a slight alteration from the original reality 1. Therefore, proving the statements of those who've time travel as well their own stories."

".. I see."

"I will repeat once again, an object cannot travel to the same reality. The object must do it twice in order to return. But with regards to the infinite realities and the slight alteration, it's highly unlikely for a return to happen. Unless, a certain point or rather a waypoint or a gate is made open between realities therefore eliminating the possibility of traveling through different realities. Even still, the object still need to travel to another reality before being able to return to one's own reality."

"..."

"If you're curious as to why such runabout method must be done, the rule of gravity still applies. Imagine the plate as the Earth and, let say, a hamburger on top of it is the object and the entire length of the table as time. Without moving the hamburger sideways, lift it up with one hand and move the plate away. If you place the hamburger back down, as you can see, the plate is no longer there. The said object will displaced elsewhere. Although in our perspective the Earth is slowly moving, if one look at a different perspective, the Earth along with other planets and celestial bodies are moving in a drastically supersonic speed and it's movement is surely elsewhere. It would totally hurt if in case the time traveller find themselves either in the void of space or elsewhere inside the planet Earth or some other celestial body. Gravity plays a major role in time travel."

"What about building multiple gateways?"

"It's a nice suggestion. It does eliminate the runabout need for going through different realities but there in lies a problem."

"What is it? Is it something to do with gravity again?"

"The problems are two things. First is how fast an object should move for an object to time travel in the same reality and which should move, the object or the reality? With the idea that gravity is the fixed point in all realities, the one thing that generally binds a reality, how can we move reality?
We could understand that speed should be at the speed of light but traveling through gates of the same reality would required more than generally taking the runabout way. That is without taking into account the danger it poses as an object travels at the speed of light in a relatively small space. Imagine getting slapped at the speed of light. But let's give it a go and say that safety is assured, how many or how much resources would we need to attain such feat? Moreso as having multiple gates. Beside that, time travel is essentially travelling both to the past and future. If gateways will be used, time travel before the invention of the gateways will be impossible. As for the concept of moving reality with the object or the time traveller as the focal point, that is also simply impossible."

"So travel between gates is impossible?"

"As mere waypoints of displacement it is feasible."

"Teleportation?"

"Yes."

"But not time time travel."

"Yes."

"..."

"You seem unconvinced, why?"

"Having multiple gateways shortens the process, you just don't like the idea.'

".. In truth, it is feasible but it strikes me with fear of a scenario happening."

"That is?"

"Doesn't matter. Those who've-"

"They aren't real and they aren't you."

"It seems this had happened before."

"Nothing is going to change."

"It'll be better."

"Exactly what you said before."

"There's a silhoutte of a cage around your heart."

"Is there?"

"You're always holding back, don't you? It's alright to be selfish too. It is the privilege if the kind to be selfish. Don't forget about yourself."

"I am evil."

"It is often times that those who are just find themselves unjust to their own self. Either mechanically or instinctively. You are not cut out ti be human yet you choose to be one."

"I am human."

"Too human if you claim yourself to be evil. In truth, you aren't."

"I am human."

"Yes, you are. But judging how you keep labeling yourself evil, it is most likely, you're only seeking to be one. You are but at the same time, you aren't."

"I am human-"

"You are not evil."

"And what about the woman you're supposed to love. You mentioned you killed her as well."

"I killer her as well the many women whom I come to know but had myself remained acquiantances with them."

"Don't you ever regret being unrequited?"

"I do but seeing as how happy they are now, I'm glad they found their own happiness."

Random Leaf #1439

"And what is the sin you most regret?"

"Murder."

"Murder? How many times have you killed?"

"A lot."

"Do you remember their names or their faces when you killed them?"

"I see him every time I look in a mirror."

"Him? Do you mean them?"

"His name is the same as mine. Everyday that I get to deny myself, every time I'm indecisive and yet chose wrongfully, I killed myself. I am no different from any murder for I have killed the many versions of me that should have been."

"I killed her."

"She's pretty much breathing and kicking. You did nothing."

"Which is why I killed her."

"She's alive. You did nothing to her."

"I did nothing and I killed her."

You make realities only through your words. You're a liar who keep the dreamers asleep and those awake dream. You make miracles out of misfortunes and find people around you find great company. It is sad that you find your moments solitude a danger to your being. I am, as well other does, hopeful you will be saved one day. If and only if you let yourself be saved. You're one of the tragedy this life recognizes that others are unaware. You shine too brightly to hide the abyss gnawing at your hollowed out soul.

"Then write."

"I don't know why."

"You studied how to write your whole life what do you mean how..? Wait.. Why? What do you mean why?"

"Is there even a reason for me write it? It doesn'y matter if they're just snippets, a line or two. But a story? Why?"

 "Because you wanted to?"

"Fair point."

"How does it go, the story I mean?"

"If I tell you then I have to write it."

"Tell me about it then."

"Why?"

"Ones own does not equate the world. It isn't necessary for the dreamer to realize his day dreams."

"You can be love. You are loved."

"The world owes me the truth. I don't owe myself anything."

"It does not hurt to be kind to yourself, don't you think?"

"Even still, it isn't love."

"What is it?"

"A lie I have keep repeating to myself."
