I’d still love her anyway,
a thousand times or even a million.
I’d go on to say to all oblivion:
she’s the only one.

The only one perfect for wedding dresses;
the only one to rival the sun—
with her bright smile and shining personality;
the only one why the stars sparkle,
and even the reason
why the sunrise and the moon
ebb the tides so high.

And much like the moon,
you are your own.
Any man can dream—
but only you,
the sole dream,
get to choose.

She is why we all exist:
to admire her,
to love her,
to gaze upon her.

Oh—
if I were the only one to see;
if I were a bit more greedy—
a bit more in love,

I would have taken you
for myself,
and basked you
before the world—
to all be aware,
you are—
