There will be people
looking out for you
and looking for you.
Both can carry
good intentions or bad—
but rarely does one do so
without meaning to.
Those without conditions
are truly like gems,
hard to come across.
They don’t care whether the water is
cold, hot, or lukewarm.
They simply smile and say,
with or without much care:
"At least we got something to drink."
