Random Leaf #1581

"Tell me about this vision you saw."

"Do I really have to?"

"You don't really have to. But all I'm saying is, I'm interested about what you see. It's like you one of those people with visions and stuffs. Just like.. that hunch back guy. Notredame."

"Nostradamus."

"Yeah, maybe we could get a winning lottery numbers or something."

"It's not like I saw the future. It's more like a saw place. A place where only I don't exist."

"Like that animation series, Erased. I like that one."

"No, I mean. I don't know."

"Just tell me something."

"In the place I saw, my parents adopted my cousin. He was taking care of the family business. He's living in our old home, the one above the store. He took the empty room I left. He's with his own family. My sister, she comes home from time to time to check in our family business. She has our parent's room all to herself. Though it doesn't matter much. She has her own condo elsewhere. She's living her dream. Stocks exchange and business in her palm with a phone. I think she's taking care of a small dog. As for our parents, they are in the vacation house they bought. It's lot cozier than the one we have. They're enjoying themselves. They all had their fair share of problems, I think the same ones that we have, but they're doing much better. Much, much better compared to.. Compared to where we are."

"Cool, cool. Hey, wait. Hold on. What did you mean you when you said the room you left? I thought you said you never existed in that vision you saw."

"Yes, I didn't. I think it was somewhere in between my first or second year of collage that I died."

"What?"
