Random Leaf #646

The stars shines dimmers
as well the ocean tide wanes closer
and closer
as if creeping on to the shore
planning on drowning all stood stare.

The moon grew smaller
as the midnight clouds came and went.
The onlookers, the onces supposed
be audience and witness, asleep and missing.

But who would be at fault
the stars are just tantalizing as the pearls
and only a pair would equal to another.

One just get lost on testimonies
of lies, cruelty and truth.
Those who went patiently waited
have an eternity to atone.

And on the grave they would bear,
written and aged,
"too late, missed the opportunity,
did not notice the signs."
