"Would I.. actually write a good story if I actually do care for my characters? Not just some fancy and intricate world building to put life in but for me to actually, you know, feel careful for my character as if they were my children."

"Then you wouldn't become a god. You'd be a good father if you do, just so you know."

"And that is.. a good thing?"

"I'd really love to say that depends on which of the two you'd value more, faith in god or a family you'd deeply care about. But whatever you choose is fine. You're not a god and certainly you not a father."

"Then, what should I become?"

"You know you already have a profession, right?"

"I'm a writer."

"Then a writer you should be."
