meets the starry eyed girl.
She is with his grandfather,
the old man of million lies.
"You're not supposed to be here,
old man,' says the child of horizon.
"Supposedly. But between you,
me and the stars, there is this
clear distinction of me not being here
and me not being able to.
And you, my dear, with all the dreams
you are keeping, clearly knows,
I am unbound."
The starry eyed girl looks at her
grandfather with a slight look of
hazy bitterness.
It isn't her eyes that shows emotions,
it's her gaze and sigh.
"You know I can't say no to you,
my darling. If you so wishes it,
I'll be gone," the liar says. His tone
both weak and playful.
Beneath it though, a slight sarcasm gets
mixed it.
"It's fine, pee paw. Sooner or later,
the truth will itself reveal.
You just get to be in the front row
of such occasion."
The liar smiles.
The horizon gulps, his eyes gets serious
but nothing can hide the weariness feel.
"Let's hear it star.
Tell me your answer."
An eterinity of pause fleets the moment.
The sound of silence echoes throughout.
And with depth monotonal voice,
"No," is what she says.
"The heck?" says the liar.
He is most surprised of the revelation.
And as for the child of the horizon,
who is now overgrown by fuzzy a beard
and a fluff moustache,
already saw it coming.
