"I'm villain. I accepted that, right from the start."
"So why are you still after the princess?"
"I was the first to fall in love."
"In love?"
"Isn't that how I.. So, am I misunderstood?"
"Who would bring an entire army equipped with all the latest and greatest weapon at that time? Who would ride dragons flying around the castle towers while the dragons breath fire? Who would raise their door in front if a closed castle gate?"
"I wanted to show off. So I had my friends help me. My voice is very weak and from the the distant, I believe so, only the dragons speaking could be heard. It is in their nature to breath fire whenever they talk. I whispered to them the words I would want conveyed. I am but small man. I could easily be hidden behind backgrounds of great amd mighty warriors. Only for her to notice me is if I wave shining sword. Only then, maybe, her eyes could see me."
"You're messed up in the head, if you think we'd believe what you did were all out of love."
"Maybe, love at first sight, is no true love at all. But nonetheless, I tried. And here I am. A sword pointed at my throat for a love I thought was real but was unrequited. I really am not cut out for this so called lovr, don't you think so?"
