"Tears slid down his cheeks. Yet he did not know why. He wiped it off and continued dreaming." I recounted.
"Was it tragic?" the spirit moved back and gave a sigh of melancholy. He too does not want tragedy.
"It was the birth a of a new god. Should it not have been joyous?" I asked as I tried to lighten the mood.
"Does the cost equal the worth?" the spirits eyes turned clouded. Ripples of tears were forming beneath his eyes.
"There's more to the story though," I answered. "It was not only the new god that was bestowed a gift. Even the girl herself were too rewarded."
"What happened to the girl?" the spirit's eyes brightened.
"She too forgot about him. It was to save her from grief." I answered without thinking and regretfully after.
"So it was as if the two never knew each other?" the spirit asked.
I nodded. I went close to the ears of the spirit and whispered.
"There's more to the story though."
