He didn't mean to fell in love actually. He was the sort of guy who doesn't believe in love at first sight. But somehow I guess, just talking with her everyday made him loosen up. The glow in his eyes were different from when before the meet each day and after they part. Though I'm sort of sure his smile was something of a result that everything wad going great.
