I find those who try their hardest to smile all the more beautiful. Even when life throws them down the gutter; even 

if things don't go their way; even if everything are impossibly against them, they still have that energy, that courage, that spark to smile.

They have this certain kind of magic that makes one say to a cruel world 'this world is beautiful,' 'I am grateful to be alive,' 'miracle exists,' 'magic exists,' and most of all, 'I want to live.'
